Octopus, Cozumel Mexico

Diving Cozumel, with its colored sponges, outstanding visibility and fabulous marine life, is a gift by itself. Then you go on a night dive, and octopuses want to show you what an octopus’s garden is. You start humming the Beatles song, Octopus’s Garden. Not so much for the lyrics “I’d like to be under the sea, in an octopus’s garden in the shade…”, which is obvious, but more for the less remembered words “Oh what a joy for every girl and boy, knowing they’re happy and they’re safe”.
